Project Description

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was the leader of the Turkish nationalistic movement, the founder and first president of Turkish Democracy. The house were Kemal was born, dates back to 1870 and was granted to the Turkish Democracy by the Greek government in 1935. It was converted a museum for Turkey’s great man. In 1981 it was repainted pink, which was the original color. The museum contains some personal items, photos and a wax statue of Kemal.
